Freezing fruit means it can be picked at its optimum ripeness. The mature sun-ripened fruit is then quickly frozen within hours of being picked to lock in the bursting flavour.

Healthy and Nutritious

Freezing fruit neither adds or takes anything away – when defrosted it is still as healthy and nutritious as the day it was picked and frozen!



Blackcurrant Smoothie

Blackcurrent Smoothie serves: One glass

115g/4oz fresh or frozen blackcurrants
1 small ripe banana
200ml apple juice
2 tbsp plain yogurt

Put all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and serve.

British blackcurrants are delicious in a fruit smoothie, try on a pavlova or a cheesecake.
Why not make a coulis? perfect for jams, fruit pies and crumbles.
